How do I get Started with Accelerated Domains?

In order to use Accelerated Domains a couple of things need to be set up first. Most of this will be handled by our Support Team, or our internal systems. We do need your help with a few things though. This process only needs to be done once per domain you want to set up. When it’s all done, you don’t need to spend any more attention to it.

To get started you can follow these five short steps:

  1. Have a site running with Servebolt

Accelerated Domains can only be set up for a site that is running in the Servebolt Cloud. If you don’t have a site with us yet, you can sign up for an account here.

  2. Order Accelerated Domains

You can order Accelerated Domains for your site here. By using this form you can send us all the information required to get you up and running as fast as possible. Once we’ve received your submission our experts will contact you to get you on board as quickly as possible.

  3. After ordering, you’ll be guided by a support agent through the domain validation process

The third step of the process is validating your domain. Our accelerated domains experts will provide you with the required DNS records, and will ensure that everything is going correctly.

  4. Point your domain to the Accelerated Domains routing endpoint provided by our support agents

All that’s left is making sure the traffic for your site gets sent to the Accelerated Domains routing endpoint. The support agent will see that you get the required DNS records to make everything work.

Note: Our Support Team will send you the exact records for you to point at your DNS provider. So if Support instructs you to point “domain.com” to Accelerated Domains, don’t point “www.domain.com” unless that is specified. That goes both ways.

  5. Enjoy the speed you’re getting with Accelerated Domains

You’re done! It’s time to sit back, relax and let our systems do the work for you. If you want, you can double check if everything is working properly. Multiple ways to do so can be found in our Help Center.
