If your FTP program is not connecting properly, here are some possible reasons:
- Make sure you’re using SFTP. That does not mean FTPS and not the old and insecure FTP.
- Make sure you use port
22
. - Please make sure your username and password are the same as your host email username and password (unless you have changed your password).
- Your firewall could be blocking the connection.
- Make sure you have the server (host) from your host email for hostname (+
sftp://
extension first). - Some SFTP programs require a path to connect. Your path would be in the host mail.
Servebolt Admin Panel SFTP Information
You will find the “SERVER LOGIN INFORMATION” in our Admin Panel. This is where you find the credentials to log in using SFTP or SSH. Here is an example of credentials you have to fill in your FTP program:
Hostname: sftp://185.91.65.160

Username: addane_13745
Password: ****************
Port: 22
