To connect to your server with ssh you need to firstly go in the control panel of your host, under settings you will find a setting about SSH access. Make sure that is set to ‘on’, if you can not see the settings, check if you have access rights. Partners are the only developers certified for SSH access.
When you have checked everything in the above step, you can continue on through to the terminal. Here you will need your hosts username, server placement and password. The following command will give you access to the server with SSH.
ssh <hostname>@rask<server>.raskesider.no # This will display the following password request, fill in the # password and hit enter. <hostname>@rask<server>.raskesider.no's password:ssh [email protected][email protected]'s password: ∗∗∗∗∗∗∗∗∗∗
