Rules on up- and downgrading
You may upgrade the base plan of your subscription at any time during a billing period (monthly or annual). However, you can only downgrade the base plan of a subscription at the time it renews for another billing period.
Addons can be added and removed from a subscription at any time and do not follow the same rules as the base plans. We, therefore, recommend that you use addons to cover temporary increases in storage, dynamic requests, PHP memory limit, etc.
Base plans and contents
All hosting plans are pre-paid, meaning you’ll be billed at the beginning of your monthly billing cycle. For all subsequent renewals, plans renew at the same standard rate.

Servebolt lets you performance boost your website with a list of available scalable add-ons. This additional flexibility allows you to increase the capability of your current plan with just a few clicks.
Storage
Storage pricing follows a tiered pricing model and is billed monthly or annually according to the plan the addon is added to.
In tiered pricing, the per-unit prices are assigned to quantity-based ranges (tiers). When calculating the total price, quantities are purchased from successive tiers, starting from the lowest.
The storage addon is sold in units of 1 GB.

Tiered pricing – example with storage addon
Tiered pricing can be a bit hard to understand fully and especially to calculate without using a calculator. That’s partially why we’ve decided to help our clients with a better upgrade page and upgrade experience, and also have a calculator available for both internal and external use.
However, here is an example using storage pricing in USD to explain how tiered pricing works.
You want to buy 21 GB extra on top of what you have included in your Pro plan.
To calculate how to get to the final price, you then have to do the following:
(5 * $14) + (5 * $12.60) + (10 x $11.34) + (1 x $10.21) = $256.61
Note that you most likely would be better off switching to the Business plan if in need of this much storage. And this is something our new upgrade page will help notice.
Dynamic Requests
Dynamic Request addon pricing follows a tiered pricing model and is billed monthly or annually according to the plan the addon is added to.
In tiered pricing, the per-unit prices are assigned to quantity-based ranges (tiers). When calculating the total price, quantities are purchased from successive tiers, starting from the lowest.
Dynamic Requests are sold in units of 100k dynamic requests, and the tiers are configured accordingly. Meaning to get 1 million extra dynamic requests, you have to buy 10 units.
The prices below are per unit of 100 000 dynamic requests.

However, here is an example using Dynamic Requests addon pricing in USD to explain how tiered pricing works.
You need a total of 1.5 million Dynamic Requests on top of the 500 000 you have included in your Pro plan.
To calculate how to get to the final price, you then have to do the following:
(10 * $7) + (5 * $8) = $110
Note that it, in some scenarios, is more cost-effective to upgrade to a higher base plan if you are in need of a lot more Dynamic Requests than what’s included.
Increased PHP memory limit
The increased PHP memory limit addon provides an extra 256 MB of memory limit on any plan.
All plans only allow for an extra 256 MB of memory. This means that to get 1024 MB of PHP memory limit, you have to have the Scale plan.
