Help FAQs
Does Servebolt support IPv6?
Yes, Servebolt supports IPv6 through two of our CDN solutions: Servebolt CDN and Accelerated Domains. Both offer enterprise-grade performance, security, and reliability for your website.
You can order Servebolt CDN and Accelerated Domains directly from the Admin Panel.
Are there any alternatives to Cloudflare APO (Automatic Platform Optimization)?
Yes, Accelerated Domains is a managed service that’s easy to use and includes most features that Cloudflare APO has, and a lot more
I’m seeing mobile version on desktop, why?
If you are using Accelerated Domains™, and see a mobile version of your site while browsing using a larger screen (or the other way around), you are probably using some sort of device sniffing in PHP, either in a custom function or something like wp_is_mobile(). This is unsafe for most caching setups, including the default Servebolt cache and Accelerated Domains.
See Using wp_is_mobile() together with Accelerated Domains for more details
Do I Need to use Cloudflare to use Accelerated Domains?
No. Whether you’re using Cloudflare or not, you can use Accelerated Domains.
As Accelerated Domains is built on Cloudflare, this means that you will get many of the Enterprise features that Cloudflare provides, without the need to have your domains DNS in Cloudflare.
Do you however have your domain on Cloudflare already and wonder how this should be set up. Then we have an article describing how this should look in Cloudflare DNS here.
Can I use Accelerated Domains when using Cloudflare?
Yes, you can still use Accelerated Domains when your domain’s DNS is handled by Cloudflare.
You just need to keep in mind that when setting up your DNS records, you can’t set records to proxy through Cloudflare (when proxied, the cloud is orange), because this doing so would give you a Cloudflare routing error.
In the picture below, you can see that under “Proxy status”, the cloud is gray, which means that requests will not be proxied through Cloudflare, but will correctly be routed directly to the Accelerated Domains routing endpoint.
Does Servebolt have a CDN?
Yes, we do and we provide several options for CDNs. Servebolt CDN is a powerful enterprise-grade CDN that comes with a Web Application Firewall built in. For more information, please read our announcement post.
Alternatively, Accelerated Domains offers an enterprise-grade CDN included in the product alongside performance-enhancing features.
We also offer various options for the use of Cloudflare. Lastly, you can add any other CDN of your liking as well – but then it will be unmanaged from our side.
