How to Change Your Database Password

Changing the database password in Servebolt is easy, here is how you can do so.

  1. To change your database password in the Servebolt Admin Panel, navigate to the Databases section in your Bolt’s menu.

  1. Find the database you want to alter and click the Settings button.

  • 3. This will redirect you to a new page where you can set a new password by clicking the Reset password button.

Please note! When changing your database password, you must update your CMS’s config file with the new credentials. An example for WordPress is the wp-config.php file, most commonly found in your webroot directory. In Servebolt the most common place to find this configuration file is in the ~/site/public/ directory.
