Transferring Files With FileZilla

FileZilla is a drag and drop application for FTP. It makes it extremely easy to transfer files from your local machine to your remote server.

On the left side you will have your local directory, here you will have to navigate to the file or repository you want to transfer. Once you have found the file or repository you will have to locate the destination for the items you want to transfer on the server. This is easily done on right side by clicking yourself through the servers repositories. Once you have found the destination you can easily drag the file from the left side to the right side. You can transfer multiple files or repositories at the same time by marking the items you want to transfer.

Easy 4 step process:

  1. Locate your files or repositories (left side)
  2. Locate you destination repository on the server (right side)
  3. Drag you files or repositories from the left(bottom) window to the right(bottom) window.
  4. Transfer will proceed and finish. You will get a popup if FileZilla experience a file replica.
