The Story Behind Servebolt
Born in Norway, Servebolt has been in the WordPress world since 2017. Not as a company that only supports WordPress — as people who actually use it, build on it, and care about where it’s headed.
We built Servebolt because we kept running into the same problems you probably have — hosting that couldn’t keep up, support that didn’t understand WordPress, plans that penalized you for growing. We didn’t want to work around those problems anymore. We wanted to solve them once and for all.
Servebolt is performance-first, without the complexity. We run on sustainable infrastructure, because we think about more than just uptime. No caps, no arbitrary limits, no surprises on your invoice.
Nine years later, we work with agencies, WooCommerce stores, and growing businesses across Europe, the US, Australia and beyond.

Engineered Differently for Better Performance
Most WordPress hosts optimize for one thing: aggressive caching. That works—until you run WooCommerce checkouts, membership content, or personalized experiences where every request hits PHP and the database. When caching falls short, platforms collapse under load: worker queues grow, TTFB spikes, and users abandon checkout. This is why we choose to do it differently.
Own the Stack: Custom OS → PHP → Database
Servebolt maintains its own Linux distribution (Servebolt Linux 8) with kernel-level tuning, custom PHP builds optimized for performance, and an optimized MariaDB layer. This allows to control the entire stack and keep uncached requests fast.
Unlimited PHP Workers: No Plan-Based Caps
Servebolt’s architecture uses dynamic worker handling with no artificial plan-based caps, designed to avoid the queueing pathologies (elevated TTFB, 5xx errors) that kill conversions during campaigns and surges.
Cloudflare Enterprise + Servebolt Optimization
Accelerated Domains by Servebolt combines Cloudflare Enterprise’s global anycast network with Servebolt-specific rules and performance tuning. Edge caching, security, and global routing designed for dynamic WordPress stacks, not just static content delivery.
