At Servebolt, our mission has always been simple: make websites faster. From the way we’ve engineered our operating system and database engine to the way we handle caching and scaling, every detail of the Servebolt Platform is built with performance at its core.
One of the most powerful tools for improving website speed today is a content delivery network (CDN). That’s why every Servebolt plan comes with a premium CDN powered by Cloudflare, at no extra cost. And now, we’re making it even easier to take full advantage of it.
We’re excited to introduce the Servebolt CDN Installation Wizard, available directly inside the Servebolt Admin Panel. With just a few clicks, you can unlock the speed, security, and global reach of the Servebolt CDN, without technical hassle or support tickets.
What Is the Servebolt CDN?
The Servebolt CDN is our purpose-built content delivery network, tightly integrated with the rest of the Servebolt platform. Unlike generic CDN solutions, it’s designed to complement our unique performance stack, delivering a unified approach to speed, reliability, and security.
It works by distributing your website’s static assets, like images, stylesheets, and scripts, across a global network of edge locations. These edge servers cache and serve content closer to your visitors, dramatically reducing latency and improving load times around the world. But Servebolt CDN doesn’t stop there; it also incorporates advanced edge caching logic, ensuring that frequently accessed content is delivered instantly while still respecting updates and cache purging rules.
What makes it stand out is its deep integration: performance is fine-tuned end-to-end, from the origin at Servebolt’s infrastructure to the edge nodes delivering your content. This means better performance, lower overhead, and less complexity, all managed seamlessly within the Servebolt ecosystem.
So, How Fast Is Servebolt CDN, Really?
Speed isn’t just a promise, it’s measurable. Since launching the Servebolt CDN, we’ve continued to evolve it with enhanced routing logic, and smarter caching behavior. Our infrastructure upgrades and optimizations have led to a 30 – 40% increase in global delivery speed since the early versions of the CDN.
One of the key reasons it outperforms generic alternatives is the CDN’s ability to serve cached responses in under 30ms in many regions worldwide. Combined with origin-level performance from the Servebolt Platform, it results in a user experience that feels near-instant, even on first load. Meaning, our Servebolt CDN HTML Caching accelerates page delivery, slashing server requests for up to 98% performance boost!
Whether you’re running an eCommerce store, a large-scale publishing site, or a business-critical application, Servebolt CDN ensures content is delivered with consistently high speed, no matter where your visitors are located.
Meet the Servebolt CDN Installation Wizard
Before today, activating Servebolt CDN involved a few guided steps and manual domain setup. With the new Installation Wizard, activating Servebolt CDN for your domains is a breeze, integrated right into your Servebolt Admin Panel.
The wizard walks you through:
- Choosing the customer or project to which the CDN configuration will apply to
- Selecting the domain(s) you want to enable on the CDN
- Verifying DNS setup and checking for compatibility
- Automatic generation of the CDN hostname
- Completing configuration with clear status indicators
Whether you’re a developer, agency, or SMB owner, you’ll appreciate how quickly you can go from zero to fully-optimized global delivery, without touching a command line or writing support tickets.
Important: Domain Limitations per Plan
While the wizard makes activation smoother, it’s important to remember that every Servebolt plan includes a limited number of CDN hostnames. Here’s how it breaks down:
- Pro Plan: Up to 5 CDN domains
- Business Plan: Up to 10 CDN domains
- Scale Plan: Up to 20 CDN domains
These limitations ensure the CDN infrastructure remains optimized for speed and reliability across all accounts. If you need more domains than your plan includes, our customer success team is always happy to help find the best solution.
How About We Get it Installed Now?
Head to your Servebolt Admin Panel and look for the Servebolt CDN section under your Domain settings. From there, the Installation Wizard will guide you step-by-step.
